My friend Tony Paves got me involved in developing Mix Master Mike's new website. Tony convinced the client that you didn't need flash to create an eye-catching, image heavy site.
The site is a full ajax wordpress integration. The wordpress cms simply delivers the content, javascript api's run the site with a central page navigator class. Challenges include adding deep-linking with swfaddress. I had to build a page logic that would keep track of sections, paginated sets of data, tabs, and item id's.
The heavy bitmap nature of the site required quite a bit of testing and optimization.
