Projects I worked on: Dr Pepper, The Daily Beast, Boogie Superstar
I have been working at Code and Theory's San Francisco office since March 2008 as a developer. Primarily this involves rendering pixel perfect implementations of complex designs across browsers and platforms. With the demanding nature of high-end advertising and the growing awareness of clients regarding the communication potential of social media and open-source API's I learn and adopt new tools and API's regularly and easily while maintaining the integrity of the design.
Primarily here we use LAMP based projects so I develop Object Oriented, class-based programs using PHP, AS3, and yes even Javascript can be class-based if not strictly OO. I am comfortable working with a variety of web services and can easily learn more.
Code and Theory has been an excellent place to grow as a developer, in house protocols are strong and provide a steady stream of learning potential but not over-bearing enough to stiffle creativity.
At times I am part of a dev-team while on other projects I am the lead dev and only reach out when a timeline requires a specific module which can be assigned to another dev. We work closely with designers and the IA team to ensure that the ideas presented to clients are all doable within the allowed timeframe and budget.
